After working at Japanese Embassy in Kazakhstan and Romania as a Chef, he went back to Japan and became a chef at one of the famous restaurants in Yokohama before making a move to Hawaii.

The concept of our restaurant is "Special ALOHA Experience". Based on this concept, I would love to assist our customers for making special memories through their ALOHA experiences in Hawaii. Our Made in Hawaii ingredients, such as fresh caught fish, pineapple and coconut to name a few, are pleasant to our customers' taste buds and leave great memories. Chef Taiga Sasahara

Born in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture in Japan. After training at an Italian restaurant in Tokyo, he visited Italy and traveled around Italy to learn cooking techniques and local tastes for a few months. After returning to Japan, he became a chef at an Italian restaurant in Sendai. From June 2022, he moved to Hawaii and became a chef at Genius Lounge. 2022 Chef One Grand Prix Japan, Miyagi prefecture representative.

I'm trying to harmonize the cooking techniques that I have had in my chef's life with the wonderful Hawaiian Local ingredients. I enjoy creating new dishes every day and Hawaii life. Call me Tiger if you find me at Genius Lounge!!
